Terms of Service
Plain English: what you can expect from me, and what I need from you.
Effective date: October 3, 2026
These terms cover the services Thrash Digital LLC (Alexandria, Louisiana) offers through thrashdigital.com. When you hire me, you also sign a Service Agreement or, for a computer repair, a Repair Check-In form for your specific job. If those signed documents say something different from this page, the signed documents control.
Services and scope
I provide the services listed in your quote, Service Agreement or Repair Check-In. Anything not listed is outside the scope and will be quoted separately before I do any work. Descriptions and prices on the pricing page on the date of your agreement are part of it. Pricing and quotes on this site are not an offer until we both agree in writing.
Payment
- A deposit is due before work begins, and the balance is due when the work is complete. The deposit reserves my time and is non-refundable once work has started.
- Invoices are due within 7 days. Balances more than 15 days past due may include a late fee, and I may pause work until the account is current.
- Computer repair, installation and other hardware labor is subject to Louisiana state and local sales tax, which is added to the invoice.
- You buy computer parts and rent any hosting directly from the seller or provider, so receipts and manufacturer warranties are in your name. Domain names and service accounts are registered in your name and paid for by you.
Timelines and your part
Dates are estimates. They assume you provide content, access and feedback on time, and delays on your side move the schedule by the same amount. If a project is inactive for 30 days, I may mark it inactive, and restarting it may require rescheduling.
Changes and revisions
Each package includes the revision rounds listed on the pricing page. Extra rounds and changes beyond the agreed scope are billed hourly after you approve an estimate.
Ownership
You keep all rights to the content you give me. Once your fees are paid in full, the final website design and code and the final, approved logo and brand files are yours. Unselected concepts and drafts stay mine, as do the general tools and templates I use across projects, which you may use as part of your finished work. Open-source components stay under their own licenses. Unless you opt out in writing, I may show finished work in my portfolio.
Warranty
For 30 days after launch or delivery, I will fix bugs and errors in my work at no charge. This does not cover new features, content changes, or problems caused by your edits, third-party services or software updates. My labor on repairs, builds and upgrades is also guaranteed for 30 days after pickup. It does not cover new problems, viruses, parts you supplied, or physical or liquid damage.
Care plans
Monthly care plans are billed monthly in advance and start on the date in your agreement. Unused edit time does not roll over. Either of us may cancel with 30 days' written notice (email is fine), and I will give 60 days' written notice before changing care plan prices.
Computer repair
Please back up your files before you hand over a device. Repairs, reinstalls and virus removal carry some risk of data loss, and I am not responsible for lost data, software or settings. Devices should be picked up within 30 days after I tell you they are ready, and a storage fee may apply after that. The Repair Check-In form has the full repair terms.
Security services
Security checkups are non-invasive reviews done with your permission. I do not hack, scan, guess passwords or bypass anything, and I do not change settings without your approval. My recommendations reduce risk, but no security service can promise that you will never be attacked or suffer a loss.
The support line
The support line, (225) 427 9197, is answered by an automated (AI) assistant that takes your message. Calls may be recorded and transcribed, as described in the Privacy Policy. Leaving a message is not a quote, a booking or an agreement, and I will contact you to discuss anything further.
Confidentiality
I keep your non-public business information, such as customer data, pricing and account access, confidential and use it only for your job. This continues after the job ends.
Limits on liability
I will do the work in a professional manner, but I do not guarantee any specific search ranking, traffic or sales. To the extent the law allows, my total liability is limited to the amount you paid me in the 6 months before a claim, and neither of us is liable for indirect or lost-profit damages. I am not responsible for outages, price changes, policy changes or data loss caused by third-party providers such as Cloudflare, Resend, GitHub or Google.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana. If any part is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
Changes to these terms
If I update these terms, I will post the new version here with a new effective date. A signed agreement for your project is not changed by an update to this page.
